Anthony P. Narine is the Founder/Owner of Human-Fluent. He is a global Human Resource (HR) executive, with twenty (20) years cumulative experience. He has held roles across Finance, Planning and Performance, Procurement, Human Resources and Manufacturing teams within the financial and energy (Upstream and Downstream) sectors, within several prominent multi-national organizations.

He is passionate about Talent and the sub-disciplines of Learning and Leadership development. His coaching style is authentic, supportive, challenging when necessary and often incorporates the use of nature. 

He has lectured at the UWI School of Business and Applied Studies, is a researcher and contributor to the Centre for Creative Leadership and has served on the Human Capital Executive Research Boards in 2013 and 2014, contributing to emerging work on Diversity and Inclusion and Talent Management fields.

He is a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Coach and Associate Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation (ICF), Project Management Professional (PMP), member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Point Lisas Industrial Estate Association (PLEA) Human Resources committee, the Project Management Institute (PMI) Southern Caribbean Chapter and Employers Consultative Association of Trinidad and Tobago (ECATT) Industrial Relations sub-committee.

Tony has managed regional, global and virtual teams. He is known for developing his direct reports and others. He has led the development and successfully implemented several enterprise-wide transformations.

He is an advocate for social justice – particularly the causes of children, the elderly and humanitarian aid efforts. He has mentored teenagers for over ten years and responded to natural disasters globally. He is a self-professed beach-bum, enjoys hiking, running, and spin exercise; he is always up for a good reading recommendation and is a movie and music aficionado.

He has been a feature speaker at several conferences. These include the 24th Annual Virtual Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) Conference and Exhibition (2020) on the topic: “Building Resilience and Well-Being for the Future of Work” and the 12th Biennial Human Resource Management Association of Trinidad and Tobago Conference (2019) on the topic: “Coaching and the Future of Work” and the Employers Consultative Association and Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturing Association Symposium (2019) on the topic: “Labour Migration Opportunities and Challenges for Trinidad and Tobago”.
